Trump vows to use "very heavy force" against anyone who protests at Army parade.
On Tuesday President Trump has promised to respond to any protesters at this Saturday’s parade US Army Anniversary parade with “very heavy force”. The President was speaking with reporters in the Oval Office and was asked for “any message” regarding the Army's upcoming anniversary celebration. He insisted that he hadn’t actually heard of any protests being planned, but made it very clear that protests will not be tolerated of any kind.
The upcoming celebration commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States Army’s formation. The anniversary reflects the formation of the original Continental Army of 1775 under the Second Continental Congress, on June 14 of that year. The Army was formed in response to the threats posed by the tyrant George III of Great Britain. One year later, the Congress declared independence from the British Empire, and the Army defended the nation in the war waged by the Tyrant against our nation. The Continental Army was the primordial body that would eventually be reorganized several times into the body now know as the United States Army, and is the original body to defend the rights and freedoms of Americans, such as the freedom to assemble, and the freedom of speech.
